Being part of a Connection Group means:

  • You get to know other people and form great relationships.
  • You become actively involved with others in the Church's mission to engage and empower people for a journey with Jesus in their world.
  • You receive pastoral care from your Connection Group Leader and Network Pastor.

How Do I Get Started?
When Northside's Connection Groups are in full swing, they involve scores of people, representing almost all age groups. In what is essentially an "inner suburban" Church, the need to provide opportunities for recreation, fellowship and study beyond our Sunday meetings is extremely important.

Make the decision...
Decide to Get Connected Today!

The best way for you to find a Group that you "connect" with is to visit a few different ones. You can contact any of the Group Leaders listed on the website, however if you'd like some help in narrowing down your list, we'd love to assist you.
Talk to one of our ministry team or let the Information Desk know your enquiry.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I belong to more than one Connection Group?
A: You can be involved in as many Connection Groups as you like. However, we would ask you to identify one group as your "primary" group.
Your Network Leader will be the one who oversees your primary Connection Group.

Q: What is the link between Northside's Connection Groups and its Pastoral Care Ministry?
A: Care for people, whatever their need, is one of the key aims of this Church. Every Connection Group Facilitator is under oversight of a Network Leader, who in turn reports to a Network Pastor (one of the members of our Ministry Team).
Your Connection Group Facilitator and Network Leader are your main points of pastoral contact. As required, direct contact can be arranged with the Network Pastor.
